Elan Microcomputer Consultants was established in 1986 by Colin Hill.   He brought 15 years experience in industrial management and 10 years experience of teaching computing and accounts in schools, adult education and university into the business.  In 1996 he purchased a small PC manufacturing business which has allowed us to build and supply PC systems and components to complement our other services.  We provide a complete range of services to personal users, local businesses and to Local Authority and National Government Departments.

We are situated at Larkfield, a village a few miles west of Maidstone in Kent, close to the M20 and M25 motorways and within easy reach of London by road or rail.   We supply PC systems, peripherals and components throughout the United Kingdom and provide an extensive range of consultation and support services to personal and business users throughout Kent, East Sussex, parts of Surrey and Central and South-East London.

We are registered with Intel as a channel partner, with Microsoft as a registered partner and with a variety of other leading names including Hewlett Packard, Netgear, Kingston, Seagate, AVG, Sage Software and 123-reg as an authorised reseller.  Our prime reason for such partnerships and registrations is to ensure a value-added service to our clients and customers - we have no obligations to any supplier, so can provide independent advice on the use of hardware, software and other services.
